BRIEF PROFILE OF THE COMPANY

Rajga Limited is a large building and general contracting entity with Permit from Petroleum Commission of Ghana for oil and gas field services, and licensed by the Ministry of Roads & Highways as well as Ministry of Works and Housing.

Rajga Limited has attained the highest classification in the construction industry with A1B1S1 and K1D1E1 ratings from the Ministry of Roads & Highways and Ministry of Works and Housing respectively. Incorporated in 2000 as Ragja limited, the company has core competence in construction engineering with dynamic capabilities in irrigation systems.
The company’s experience in irrigation systems started in 1997 with the ‘Low-land Rice Development Project’ and ASIP when we were awarded contracts to execute three pilot projects in three different locations in Upper West Region which were successfully completed in 1999. Following the successful execution of the ASIP projects, Rajga was again awarded a major irrigation project under the Village Infrastructure Project (VIP) between 1999 and 2003.

In 2003, the Group won the bid for construction of massive irrigation systems under the Community-Based Rural Development Program (CBRDP) in the Upper West Region of Ghana. On successful execution of the CBRDP projects, Plan Ghana awarded Rajga limited a contract to construct irrigation dams in Northern region from 2004 to 2006 to help stem the tide of rural-urban migration.
Rajga has also executed large irrigation projects for the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority (GIDA) from 2007 to 2008. Since inception, the company has also executed more than 100 Government of Ghana’s roads and building construction projects across the country. Rajga Group has international partners in Rotterdam, Russia, UK and Germany who continuously partner the company to execute top notch projects.
